A Project On Dhokra and wood Craft

This project is an attempt to bridge the gap between the artisan and the current market needs thereby making their products more viable in the market. Although the products that have been made, are rather contemporary and cater to the current market, they do not lose their flavor and identity. The idea was to break the conventional use of pure brass in Dhokra art by fusing it with wood, thereby giving it a new feel.

TAP - ON is a device which produces electricity from any source of water which is flowing through pipe. It is an ancient method in which the force of the water rotates a turbine, which converts the water force to electrical output.

Our concept is called Healmoweal. It is a device which satisfies the students need for coffee and snacks at any given hour. It also initiates informal interaction amongst the students and provides a platform to use their skills/creativity to make someone Else's day.

Challenge was to make a permanent shelter in a school, this is also the only outdoor space available to the students. However, this space is seldom used due to harsh sunshine being present for 8‐9 hrs. During which school hours are placed. The outdoor space on campus needs to be made more accessible and usable for the students and faculty.
